Boricua I just hooked up my HDMI from laptop and it worked like a charm but of course its a laptop. Not sure what you guys are working on but when I have my house in Aug 29 I will be able to do the same or better. ;) For now, this hook up works awesome on my cousins flat screen TV. :)

Peace and cant wait to come back and chat/play some v games mofos.

BTW - sorry to hear about your situation and hope its all better my friend.

I honestly have not looked into those settings. Typically whatever default is looks amazing.

I did just order this baby for my HTPC in order to reduce noise and get Digital audio through HDMI so as soon as i get the monies im going to invest in a surround sound system.

Worked flawlessly. 60$ and the noise level of my HTPC is drastically reduced. Picture actually apears a bit crisper. And Full HD Picture/Audio through HDMI. Now to see if i can budget in a new Home Theater System and pump up the "volume" a bit.

Text on my set looks about the same as it does on my monitor for my PC. the problem I find is that its usually too small to see from accross my living room.

One thing to investigate is that most TVs by default do what is called Overscanning. They blow the picture up so that the very edges are actually off the screen. This is because most HD content can have artifacts along the very edges. I found disabling this actually improved crispness in all pictures as well as text. Sorta like putting the pixels where they actually belong. you would not notice this when only using TV signals. But definately might help on the PC signal. My set allowed for this setting to be changed per input. So I only disabled it on the PC input.
